Managing Partner

Margaret Whitfield-Hale

Estate Planning & Probate

Margaret founded Oak Haven Counsel in 2001 after a decade in the trusts and estates group of a larger Raleigh firm, on the view that families planning for the next generation deserved the same care as institutional clients.

The practice covers estate and tax planning for closely held business owners, trust administration, and contested estate matters before the Clerk of Superior Court. Margaret has served as managing partner since the firm opened and still carries a full client docket.
